An explosion at an ammunition factory in southern Yemen has killed at least 150 people. The authorities blame al-Qaeda, but local residents accuse the government of setting the explosion itself. If the latter turns out to be true, that alone should be enough to remove whatever remaining legitimacy Saleh has.

Ammunition explodes, often for reasons thar are not intended, but an accident is just to mundane for a good plot.
And off the subject.
I beleive you grunbled somthing like this at the Duck a while back.

Hank,
Thanks, I like it. (Although the actor's accent perhaps leaves something to be desired: sounds like a Scotsman trying to sound like a German and not succeeding all that well. Of course, Marx did live for years in London, and I have no idea what his English, on the occasions he spoke it, actually sounded like.)
My grumble at the Duck had to do with referring to the fall of the Soviet bloc as "the collapse of socialism"; as this video suggests, it's also inaccurate to refer to it as "the collapse of communism [small "c"]."
