History and theory of international politics, etc.
Have a good break/Christmas LFCMake sure you come back now!
Thanks RonanSame to you
Ditto Ronan. Stay offline some! It's gotten to where I have to plug my phone into a speaker so I can force myself to read a book without compulsively "checking" something online ....
Yup, I'm planning to stay offline some. It's a little easier for me to do perhaps, in that I still have only a fairly primitive cell phone, not a smartphone, so I don't use the phone to access the web (just too cumbersome). The danger for me is getting sucked into CT threads which -- aaggh! -- I did again today to some extent.
Andersonthis review might be of interest from this weeks lrbhttp://www.lrb.co.uk/v35/n23/thomas-laqueur/some-damn-foolish-thing
WW1-related?(I'm getting ready to go out of town, hence not checking the link rt now. Anyway you did address it to Anderson, who may or may not see the msg... )

Thanks and same to you, Hank.(I'm one of those non-Christians who is fine w the salutation "merry Christmas" :))
P.s. I'm getting toward the end of the Raghavan book 1971. I'll have a review of it here sometime in January. (Actually "here" will be a new site as I'm planning to move the blog to Wordpress; haven't set it up yet though.)
